Being a good engineer does not automatically make someone a good teacher. So our team checks both. A new trainer first shadows an experienced one for a cohort. They learn how to break a concept into steps, how to pace a session and how to give feedback that helps rather than discourages.
Before a campus program, academic faculty assess the trainer and the session plan. This keeps our industry trainers aligned with academic expectations and credit rules. Icanio HR completes background verification before any trainer meets students.
After every cohort, we read student feedback on each trainer. We look at clarity, availability, quality of reviews and how well students did in the final assessment. Where feedback points to a gap, the trainer gets coaching. Curriculum changes suggested by trainers are reviewed and folded into the next cohort.
